Spot manipulated and resubmitted registration documents.

A manipulated registration document looks genuine at first glance. Add the check to the extraction: eight independent examinations per upload look for copied characters, editing traces in the file and its compression, contradictions in the content and documents that were submitted before — with an overall grade from A to F and a plain-language finding for each check. The result is an indication for your own review, not an official authenticity ruling.

Checks

Eight checks per document.

Each check looks at something different and returns its own finding. Together they produce an overall grade from A (unremarkable) to F (highly suspicious) — traceable, because you see every individual finding. Every finding is an indication for your own review, not an official authenticity ruling.

Check the image details

If capture device, time and software in the file don't fit together or point to an image editor, it is flagged.

Compare the preview image

If the stored preview shows something different from the photo, the image was edited after it was taken.

Copied characters in critical fields

Finds characters in the VIN, plate, name or date copied almost pixel for pixel from elsewhere on the same page.

Text inserted afterwards

Marks text spots that behave clearly differently from the rest of the page when re-saved — a sign of later insertion.

Traces of a second save

Finds spots changed after a first save. Only possible for files with that history, such as the original file.

AI marker in the image file

Reports AI generation when the image file declares it itself. Without such a marker, AI cannot be detected.

Check the content for contradictions

Checks whether VIN and check digit, manufacturer codes, dates and technical values agree.

Duplicates across your uploads

Raises an alert when the same document is resubmitted with different data — only within your account, without storing the document for it.

How it runs

How the check works.

The authenticity check runs alongside the extraction — same step, no second upload. That way suspicious registration documents stand out before their data reaches your system. Enable the check per document or permanently in your account settings.

Overall grade A to F

The individual findings are combined into one grade — deliberately conservative, so genuine documents don't get flagged needlessly.

A finding per check

You get the extracted data as usual — plus the risk assessment with a grade and a reason for every check.

What the result looks like.

The extracted data stays as it is. The risk assessment is added on top — only when you switch it on, never automatically.
