Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Fahrzeugschein24 (the "Service"), operated by Picsure GmbH, Heidenkampsweg 58, 20097 Hamburg, Germany. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Fahrzeugschein24 is a brand of Picsure GmbH; Picsure GmbH is your contracting party and the entity stated on invoices.
1. The Service
Fahrzeugschein24 reads German vehicle registration documents (Zulassungsbescheinigung Teil I) and returns the contained information as structured data — through a browser playground and through an API. An optional add-on checks uploaded documents for signs of manipulation, AI-generated images and cross-document duplicates. The Service is a software aid: extraction results may contain errors and must be reviewed before you rely on them for legal, financial or safety-relevant decisions.
2. Accounts & eligibility
The Service is intended for business and professional use. You must provide accurate registration details, keep your credentials and API keys confidential, and are responsible for all activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You may only upload and process documents for which you have a lawful basis and the necessary rights. You must not use the Service to infringe third-party rights, to process documents unlawfully, to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or to exceed the technical limits of your plan. We may suspend access in case of misuse, security risk or non-payment.
4. Plans, quotas & billing
The free plan is provided for evaluation and is limited to 15 extractions per month. Paid plans include a monthly extraction quota; usage beyond it may be billed per additional extraction at your plan's rate. Current plans, quotas and prices are listed on the pricing page. Prices are in euro and exclude statutory VAT unless noted otherwise.
5. Customer data & data processing
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy (/privacy). Where we process personal data contained in documents on your behalf, we act as a processor and a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR applies (/avv). Documents are hosted in Germany and processed on servers within the EU. Uploaded images are processed in memory only and are not stored.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, its software and content remain our property or that of our licensors. You retain all rights to the documents you upload and to the structured data extracted from them. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for the term of your subscription.
7. Availability & warranty
We work to provide a reliable Service but do not warrant uninterrupted availability or that extraction results are complete or error-free. Except where mandated by law, the Service is provided "as is".
8. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are only liable for breach of a material contractual obligation, limited to the foreseeable, contract-typical damage. Any further liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law; mandatory liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
9. Term & termination
Subscriptions run for the period selected at sign-up and may be terminated in line with the plan you chose. We may terminate or suspend access for material breach. On termination your right to use the Service ends; data handling follows the Privacy Policy and the DPA.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or legal requirements. The current version is always available on this page; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Where permitted, the place of jurisdiction is Hamburg. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
