Which entries are read from a German vehicle registration?
Up to 65 fields from the Zulassungsbescheinigung Teil I: registration number, vehicle identification number, keeper and address, date of first registration, make and type, the German key numbers, masses, emissions and tyre data. The full list is at every field at a glance.
How long does it take to read a Fahrzeugschein?
Usually one to two seconds per document — in the browser and over the API alike.
Is a phone photo enough, or do I need a scan?
A phone photo is enough as long as the document is fully visible and legible. Skewed, rotated or dark captures are straightened and cleaned up first. JPEG, PNG, HEIC, PDF, TIFF, BMP and WebP are accepted.
What does it cost to read vehicle registrations?
The free plan stays free and covers 15 extractions a month, with no call and no payment details. Above that, plans start at 19 euros net per month, cancellable monthly with no minimum term; every tier is listed under pricing.
Are my documents stored?
Not on the paid plans: there, uploaded documents are processed only for the duration of the request. On the Free plan we store them and use them to improve recognition. On every plan, processing runs on servers in Germany, inside the EU. Details are on the security page.
Do you detect edited or re-submitted documents?
From the Business plan up, a check for irregularities runs alongside: signs of editing, contradictory entries, and documents that have been submitted before. It is an indication for your own review, not an official authenticity ruling.

Yes, as a filled PDF. You send us your blank form, such as your workshop job card, and we set it up for you once. From then on, you upload a registration document and get your form back with the keeper, plate, VIN and vehicle details already filled in. You add the signature, the date and anything else yourself.
