Purchase, job intake, claims, re-registration: a German registration document turns up in almost every process, and rarely for two or three values alone. A complete record means moving 20 or more entries from the Part I certificate into a form by hand — and the cost is not the minute per case but the typo inside it. A 0 typed as an O in the vehicle identification number looks plausible on screen; it surfaces when the wrong part arrives or a case comes back from the registration office.

Each entry carries a confidence value for every field and the position on the document it was found at; the matching image detail can be placed beside it through a setting in your account. Anyone verifying a holder address sees it as printed, right next to the recognised text, without opening the original again.

For the VIN in box E there is a real cross-check on top: the number that was read is compared against the check digit printed on the certificate, and the outcome travels with the record. Contradictions are reported rather than quietly smoothed over — if the fuel-type key says something other than the fuel in plain text, that comes back as a note. It is not resolved for you: that discrepancy is what someone needs to see.

Your documents stay in Germany

Registration certificates carry holder data: processing runs on servers in Germany and stays inside the EU. Uploaded documents are processed for the duration of the request only and are not stored; what remains in your account is the extracted data and the log data for your access.
